• Ian moved with us on 21 Nov 2016 ( Monday ), from Nash street in Brunswick to Churchill drive in Cowes. There was also additional pickups in Berwick along the way. This was a 3 bedroom double storey house move and we used our 6.5 ton truck with 2 men. There was a 2 hour travel involved and the total cost of the move was $1080 for a 9 hour moving job, including Gst , stairs & fuel costs. Ian was very pleased with our moving team and the cost was also within his expectation. He was thankful and gave the boys $100 tip for their hard work.
• Cindy moved with us on 5 Dec 2016 ( Monday), from Dunstan avenue in Brunswick to Leveson street in North Melbourne. This was a 3 bedroom house move with 2 levels of stairs. The move started at 8 am sharp with our 4.5 ton truck and 2 men. Pickup in Brunswick was a double storey house but the destination was a city apartment with lift access. The truck could not fit in the undercover parking because of height restrictions. Truck had to be parked on a loading bay outside nearly 100m away from the building. Because of difficult access, this moving job took 9 hours to finish and the total cost of the move was $800 inc Gst and stair fees. Cindy understood the constraints and was thankful the moving was finished within that day only.
• Vito moved with us on 6 Feb 2021 (Saturday) from a storage on Albert street in Brunswick to Station street in North Carlton. We used our 4.5 ton truck with 2 men and stated at 12 noon. The move was finished within 3.5 hours for a total cost of $495 including 4 levels of stairs. Vito wanted the moving team to be mindful of  the polished floorboards and he was not disappointed with the effort of the boys. The moving team took great care and cleaned their shoes before entering the house and made sure there were no marks on the floorboards.
• Kelly hired Melbourne City Movers to move her 3 bedroom single storey house on 13 Aug 2017 ( Sunday), from Canberra street in Brunswick to View street in Glenroy. Although this was a 3 bedroom house but Kelly wanted a 4.5 ton truck because of the narrow driveway , a bigger truck will not fit and a long walk will make the move very expensive. We used 2 men and the move started at 8 am sharp. There were 2 trips required to move all her furniture and the move took 8 hours for a total cost of $754 including GST & Saturday surcharge. Kelly was happy with professional service and the cost was below her expectation. She thanked the moving team for their hard work and promised to recommend our company to all her friends and relatives.
