• Chris moved with us on 29 December 2017 from Locksley road in Eaglemont to Christopher Drive in Frankston. This was a 3 bedroom double storey house move. We used our 6.5 ton truck with 2 men to accommodate nearly 33 cubic meters of furniture. Our moving teams arrived at sharp 8 am at Eaglemont and finished the move in Frankston at 3 pm. Travel time was 1 hour, loading and unloading was finished within 6 hours. The total cost of the move including stairs and fuel cost was $1008. Cost of this move less than what Chris had anticipated and he was very pleased with moving service provided by Melbourne City Movers.
• Glenn moved with us on 10 February 2018 from Anderson parade in Bundoora to Ashby Grove in Eaglemont. This was a 3 bedroom double storey house move. Glen was specific with his requirement that he wanted to hire 8 ton truck with 2 men, with a total moving capacity of 44 cubic meters. He wanted to make sure there was only one trip required. We sent moving instructions to Glenn via Email, to prepare for the move and he was ready and organized before we arrived for a 7 am start. The move was finished within 6 hours and the total cost of the move was $995 including GST and stair fees.
• Laura moved with us on 12 August 2020 from Tennyson street in Elwood to Ashby grove in Eaglemont. This was a 1 bedroom apartment with one level stair access. Laura was moving a Mattress, Dining table, bedside tables, Dryer, Kitchen gear, some linen and a bunch of boxes. We used our 2 ton Van with 2 men, and the total cost of the move was $200 inc Gst and stair fees. Laura only wanted to hire one man, but due to Covid-19 lockdown rules it was recommended to use 2 men, so contact with customers was avoided and social distance maintained at all times.
