• Brad moved with us on 14 December 2016 ( Tuesday ), from Storage on 330 Albert street in Brunswick to Charles Place in Fitzroy. This was fairly large 3 bedroom house and we had to use our 6.5 Ton truck with 2 men. Total cost of the move was $1078 including GST & 3 levels of stairs. We knew it would be a big moving job because we moved Brad into Storage 18 months back. It is recommended that you use the same moving company to move you out of storage to avoid confusion in regards to which company may have caused damage to your furniture. Brad arrived from Singapore on the move day and our teams delivered all his furniture and assembled the beds for him. Brad was thankful for all the services provided by Melbourne City Movers.
• Jenny moved with us on 10 February 2017 ( Friday ) from Westbury street in St Kilda East to York street in Fitzroy. This was a 1 bedroom apartment, but on level 3 and with stairs access only. We used our 4.5 ton truck with 2 men and the job was finished within2 hrs. Total cost of the move was $247 including Gst and stair fees. Main items to move were medium sized fridge, slat bed, mattress, some boxes and 2 suitcases. Jenny also picked up a folding bed and queen mattress from another location in Fitzroy during the move. Jenny was happy with the price and timely start of the move.
• Anna moved with us on 27 May 2017 ( Saturday ) from Marlon lane in Fitzroy to David street in Fitzroy. This was a local move of a 1 bedroom apartment on level 3 with stair access only. Initially Anna wanted to hire 1 man only, but we explained to her that its not possible to move fridge, washing machine etc. over stairs with 1 man.
