• Kelly hired Melbourne City Movers to move her 3 bedroom single storey house on 13 Aug 2017 ( Sunday), from Canberra street in Brunswick to View street in Glenroy. Although this was a 3 bedroom house but Kelly wanted a 4.5 ton truck because of the narrow driveway , a bigger truck will not fit and a long walk will make the move very expensive. We used 2 men and the move started at 8 am sharp. There were 2 trips required to move all her furniture and the move took 8 hours for a total cost of $754 including GST & Saturday surcharge. Kelly was happy with professional service and the cost was below her expectation. She thanked the moving team for their hard work and promised to recommend our company to all her friends and relatives.
• Jason moved with us on 14 September 2018 ( Friday), from Centreway in Glenroy to Firenze road in Greenvale. This was a 3 bedroom house and we used our 8 ton truck with 2 men. Main furniture items were Fridge, washing machine, Dryer, 3 x queen mattresses, 3 beds and bases, 3 x Tvs, 2 Tv units, 2 x coffee tables, Dining table, dining chairs, 3 seater + 2 seater couch, 7 seater wicker lounge, outdoor dining table, 10-15 large boxes, 8 large pot plants and around 6 side tables. The move started at 10 am sharp and was finished in 4 hours for a total cost of $605 including GST. Jason was impressed with the speed at which the moving team worked and left a glowing review for the excellent moving service.
