We used our 6.5 ton truck for this move and the move was finished in 5 Hours. The total cost of the move was $650 including GST. We waived off the stair charge because only 2 items were going upstairs. Loading and Unloading was finished within 4 hours and 1 hour was the travel between pickup and destination. Belinda thanked the boys for their hard work and left Melbourne City Movers a glowing review.
• Moved Lee on 29 November 2017 ( Wednesday ), from Nepean Highway in Aspendale to Navarre Driver in Cranbourne west. The job took 2 hours to move and the total was only $231. There were only a few items to move like fridge, washing machine, few chairs and boxes. Lee was happy with our low cost service and praised the hard work of the boys.
• Fiona moved with us on 22 December 2016 ( Thursday ), from Orton rise in Endeavour hills to Scott road in Cranbourne. This was a 3 bedroom, single storey house move. Fiona was well prepared for this move, they had boxed up every bit of loose item and disassembled all furniture where possible. Fiona was settling both houses on the same day and wanted to empty the house before the settlement time of 2 pm. We used our 6.5 ton truck with 2 men and arrived at 12 noon sharp. The move was finished within 6 hours and the total cost of the move was $750 including GST. Due to the long hours worked by our moving team, we had to send extra 2 men to help and speed up the move. Fiona was very happy with the move and thanked us for being on time and finishing the move within 6 hours.
• Christine moved with us on 31 March 2017 (Friday), from Trillium boulevard in Cranbourne north to Leyland drive in Narre Warren. This was a 3 bedroom house move from ground floor to ground floor only. Because both the properties were in close proximity, we used our 4.5 ton truck with 2 men. The move started at 9 am and was finished in 2 hours for a total cost of only $237 inc GST. Although this was a 3 bedroom house in actual Christine did not had much furniture. She was satisfied with the moving team and promised to recommend Melbourne City Movers.
