• Allan booked with us to be moved on 30 November 2017 ( Thursday ),  from two pickups. First pickup was on Okeefe street in Bellfield & the second pickup was from Storage Fort Knox in Alphington and then moving to Wave Street in St leonards near Geelong. Allan had so much furniture to be moved that we had to use two of our 6.5 ton trucks with 4 men with a total moving capacity of 66 cubic meters. It took a total of 9.5 hours for the move and the total cost of the move was $2195. Considering 4 hours of travel both ways, the loading and unloading took 5.5 hours. This was a very big move completed within the day and Allan and family were very happy with the hard work of the boys moving heavy furniture up and down the stairs without complaints.
• Sarah moved with us on 06 march 2020 ( Friday ), from Fairfield avenue in Belmont ( Geelong ) to Tussock Grove in Cairnlea. This was a 3 bedroom house with a heavy 2 seater sofa bed, which was noted extremely heavy by the previous moving company she moved with. The move was completed within 8 hours including both ways travel and the total cost of the move was $1000. This move was booked as 9 am start in Belmont, the boys were on time and were extremely careful with Sarah’s delicate and heavy furniture. Sarah was very happy with the move and thanked Melbourne City Movers for their hard work.
• Peter moved with us on 28 November 2016 ( Monday), from Clover court in Grovedale to Slipway road in Werribee South. This was a 3 bedroom and double storey house move. Peter booked our 4.5 ton truck with 3 men for this move because he thought there was not much but heavy furniture to be moved over the stairs. Due to an issue with our 4.5 ton truck, we ended up sending our 6.5 ton truck with 3 men. Move started at 8 am sharp and was finished in 6 hours for a total cost of $803 including GST. Peter was lucky that we sent our 6.5 ton truck because this was not a 4.5 ton job. The bigger truck saved him the second trip and he got it for the price of a 4.5 ton. Peter was happy and thanked the moving team.
• Emma moved with us on 05 March 2020 ( Thursday), from Belmont crescent in Montmorency to Darrivill Street in Bell Post Hill. This was a 2 bedroom house with 2 levels of stairs. We used our 6.5 ton truck with 2 men and the move started at 8 am sharp. The main furniture requiring move was : fridge, 2 x couches, 3 x armchairs, 2 Kitchen hutch/shelves, queen bed, bookshelf, small cupboard, table & chairs, 40 x  boxes and miscellaneous items. We anticipated 7 to 9 hours for this move including both ways travel. Actual move was finished within 7 hours for a total cost of $890 including GST. Emma was happy with the over all move and cost and thanked the moving team for their hardwork.
