• Lucas moved with us on 18 February 2017 ( Saturday ),  from Newham grove in Ormond to Rae Avenue in Edithvale. This was 2 bedroom single storey house move. We used our 4.5 ton truck with 2 men and the job was finished within 3 hours. The total cost of the move including GST and weekend surcharge was $324. Lucas had everything ready, the beds were disassembled and loose items were all boxes up. It was quick load and unload job and Lucas very happy with the end cost and thanked Melbourne City Movers for the excellent moving service.
• Chris moved with us on 22 December 2017 (Friday), from Punt road in South Yarra to Leila road in Ormond. This was a 2 bedroom house with 3 levels of stairs. We used our 4.5 ton truck with 2 men for this move. Chris was concerned about the truck fitting in the parking laneway, because when he moved last time the truck was not able to back in the laneway. There was another option to park on loading bay on punt road. In the end the boys managed to reverse the truck in the laneway. The move started at 8 am and was finished by 1 pm ( 5 hours ). The total cost of the move was $528 including GST and stair fees. Chris was thanked the boys for their hard work on a very hot December day.
• Helen moved with us on 04 April 2018 ( Wednesday ), from Jasper road in Ormond to Archies Creek road in Archies Creek. This was a 3 bedroom house to a property approximately 1.5 hours away. We used our 6.5 ton truck with 2 men for this move. Helen wanted a 9.30 am start to avoid traffic congestion at earlier times. The boys were on time and the items included an upright Piano as well. The move was finished in 6.5 hours , including 3 hours of both ways travel and 3.5 hours of loading and unloading. Helen want to pay by invoice, so we asked her to get a Purchase order issued and organize a direct correspondence between the paying organization and Melbourne City Movers. All formalities were sorted professionally and the move was completed without any issues.
