I had the best moving experience with Melbourne City Movers. The team who assisted with our move (Shri & Love) did a fabulous job. Nothing was broken or damaged. Though we had some heavy stuff to move and also had stairs we didn’t hear then complain; they were very careful and coordinated.

Wonderful job. Excellent communication before and during the move. Was a big move from regional Victoria to Melbourne. Arrived half an hour early but called first to make sure that would be okay. Preet and Ahmed were professional, respectful, fast-paced but with a keen eye for safety, and extremely patient when an elderly relative got in the way trying to micromanage everything (but making their job harder). They also kindly agreed to wear N95 masks for my safety when I asked (I supplied the masks). Highly recommend.

Response from the owner:Thank you for your kind feedback.

I've used this team for 3 different moves around Melbourne since 2022 and have been well looked after each time. Their movers always take great care and don't mess about. Very responsive over email. Highly recommend!

The move was absolutely smooth. Every furniture was placed perfectly. Two movers were amazing to deal with and made the move stress free for me. The quote was very genuine for the number of items I moved. The attention to detail of handling things was amazing, movers carry shoulder belts to move heavy and bulky items i was amazed to see that. I will definitely use the service again. I highly recommend the service to others. Thanks to Melbourne city movers.

I used Melbourne City Movers to do a 3BR NE vic regional to Melb move. Price point was fair & reasonable, it was a long day for the guys who did a great job packing & unpacking whilst looking after my stuff including some fragile antique furniture & precious items. Communication was clear & responsive. Overall a good operation. I would use them again and recommend to others.

Melbourne City Movers were excellent all round! The communication was great and booking was easy. The two guys were friendly, professional and efficient. Their previous job was a long way away so they called me early to let me know they would be a bit later than the planned time which was no problem, and they got the job done super quick! Thanks again!

Overall 9.5 out of 10 to Gill Preet the manager and his removalist team. Great price, communication, transparency and easy quote per jobs requirement. Same goes to our removalists polite mannerism, punctuality & professionalism. The move went really well. Punctual & Trustworthy. Labour hours delivered between 8AM- 2.45pm then they took off to the next job. This is a genuine review. Highly recommended.

We booked mcm with short notice. We had a lot of very heavy furniture a flight of steep old stairs and narrow doorways. The two men showed up started immediately, didn’t stand around talking or looking at their phones, they just worked and worked extremely hard. They were smiling and happy. They were very professional and there was not a single mark in anything they moved. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them. My husband who hates spending money, after they left he said they were worth every cent. I agree. A wonderful job not just by the two men who were extremely organised and had all the equipment to do the work but also from the gentleman who we booked with online who communicated everything. Well done fellas

Moved yesterday with two workers. They cleared two apartments and got everything into the new building with no damage. Only reason i cannot rate higher was the fact that they were two hours late, missing the bookings i made to make the moving process easier (priority for elevator and parking). They did call me a few hours before to let me know they would be an hour and forty minutes late. They did discount what i paid for parking which was great. The two blokes were very efficient and professional. They did seem upset that the bookings were missed but as it was no fault of my own they didnt mention it. If there was more of a guarantee of punctuality for the bookings they make with clients i'd be happy to book again for my next move!
